Na-na,
I am writing to say thank you for everything you have done for me, when no-one else could or would help - you were there.
When no-one else cared what happened to me, whether I lived or died - you were there. When faced with the decision to uproot
and leave everything that you loved, or leave me to suffer - you didn't question. When no-one understood me, and no-one wanted
to - you listened.
Throughout my life you have been there for me, whatever I may do or say, whatever I may look or sound like, you stood
up for me, protected and nurtured me, and raised me to be the loving, caring, strong person that I am today.
Without your love and patience I would not be who I am today, I don't even know if I would have survived without you.
Although you are no longer here, at the end of the phone, or 20 minuites down the road, I know that your love is there,
protecting me, keeping me safe, and surrounding me with the strength that only you can bring.
Na-na, I love from now until for ever... And always have.
