-All members of the Directorate have clearly defined roles, and are assisted in them by the Directorate.

-Defence of the masquerade is a task undertaken by the entire clan. No Breeches are committed by a Ventrue or one of their servants.

-The Directorate regulates external trading. Any boons that are owed by a member of the Directorate to non-directorate kindred are paid back as swiftly as is possible.

-Growth of power is constant and measurable.

-All members of the Directorate place the Directorates interests before Personal or fief wide interests.

-Regular Directorate meetings are arranged by the Praetor are well attended and all members are punctual.

-All Directorate members are aware of what to do should matters come to arms. All are versed in these arts to a greater or lesser extent.
